Climate: “Climate: Women are getting involved!”

Laurent Fabius hosted the conference entitled “Climate: Women are getting involved!” at the Quai d’Orsay on October 16 in the presence of Marisol Touraine, Minister of Social Affairs, Health and Women’s Rights and Pascale Boistard, Minister of State for Women’s Rights.

With just a few weeks left until the opening of the Paris Climate Conference, the goal of this event is to increase awareness of the role of women in the mobilization against climate disruption.

At the end of the conference, Danielle Bousquet, Chair of the High Council for Equality between Women and Men, Catherine Coutelle, Chair of the Women’s Rights Delegation of the National Assembly, and Chantal Jouanno, Chair of the Senate’s Women’s Rights Delegation, presented the ministers with a text on “Women, actors in the fight against climate change.”
