The impact of the crisis will mean bold recovery planning and an opportunity to actively address these challenges which are particularly important for maritime economies, such as the ones in the Caribbean region.
The Permanent Mission of France to the OAS, the Office for Science and Technology of the Embassy of France in the United-States and the Executive Secretary of Integral Development of the OAS propose to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the Paris Agreement with a Webinar focusing on "Caribbean Maritime Economies : climate and biodiversity challenges". High level experts from different countries and organizations will discuss ocean ecosystem vulnerability, climate change, rising sea level, plastic pollution issues and their impact on the Caribbean countries and their economic development.
